Hi,
I had thought of doing a glamour photo shoot before, but had
never ventured into doing my homework and organising my session.
I
came across the Studio X Photography stand at an exhibition
and saw the photos that they had on display. I thought they
were awesome!
Once
I met with Chris and Loric at their studio, we talked about
my worries and insecurities, as I am slightly on the overweight
side. They took it all in their stride and assured me that
it would all work out. We talked about what ideas and concepts
I liked, what I wanted to achieve during my shoot and discussed
any ideas that I wanted to try. With that they put forth their
ideas of what they thought would suit me and went on to show
me some examples of their ideas.
On
the day of my photo shoot, I was so excited and nervous all
at once! I went and had my hair and makeup done by somebody
I knew and travelled to Newmarket.
I
was very nervous with the thought of having next to nothing
on and my photos taken in the presence of two strangers that
I had only met with once before. Both Chris and Loric just
kept talking to me and encouraging me with more ideas and
helpful pointers. It wasn’t long before I really started
to enjoy posing in nothing more that just a sheet!
Once
in full swing and with my confidence up, it became much easier
than I ever thought it would be. We tried many different looks
to see what worked best for me. By the time the actual photo
shoot was over, I was feeling so relaxed that I didn’t
want it to end!
Sitting
there during my viewing and looking at all the shots that
Loric had captured was so cool, seeing myself on the big screen
and realising that I was a lot more photogenic than I had
ever thought. All I could think was WOW! I felt like such
a princess and so beautiful. It was such a great feeling!
